Hope is a powerful thing

Hope is a powerful thing. It takes and it takes and it takes. It takes your strength to believe, and it takes your courage to walk straight ahead. But the thing about hope was that it also gives, gives meaning to your life, gives you a reason to still hold on, and gives balance to all your unsteady steps. Hope gives company to the lonesomes and to the ones who grieve. But also to the happy souls, giving them the hope for something greater. I hope. You hope. We hope. We hope. You hope. I hope. Hope- an emotion, a scripted plot, a lie, a state of being, a belief, a way of life. Hope is the one wrapped up in expectation’s arms, or maybe hope is the one holding expectations from falling apart. Hope is bound by the confines of reality but reality depends on hope. Hope is that yearn for a future you doubt can come true. Hope makes you wish for something not yet acquired. Hope is what leads you to a success not yet achieved. Hope is a desire for having a bigger probability.  To hope is to be vulnerable because to hope is to let your guard down and show what you want. To have hope is to accept your worries. To have hope is to work in spite of all the hurdles. Having hope is important. Having hope is what makes the next day possible. having hope makes it easy to live on. Hope helps you to cradle the weight of life in your hands and feel the soft hum of someday acquiring what is still only a simple dream. Hope is adventurous, aggressive, adamant. intertwined into everything and yet not visible to the eye. Hope makes you work hard and gives you encouragement. Hope makes you see your efforts as progress and your failure as just one step closer to heights. Hope makes you dedicated. Hope helps you stay committed to your goals. Hope knows without asking. Hope knows your fears and your doubts. Hope is familiar with your insecurities and your potential. Hope knows what you want, and hope cares about what you need. Hope makes it easy to hold on and hope makes it hard to let go. Hope knows everything.  Hope takes but it also gives. Hope is powerful.
